Obsidian Scythe

Formed of obsidian, a curious, glass-like metal of absolute black with a mirror polish, this weapon is not merely a scythe, but a nigh-sentient mass of living metal which can take the form of any lethal weapon, or even several.

It hails from a distant world, whose particulars most mortals would find unpleasant to imagine; suffice to say, it has something of a will of its own, and that will tends rather toward evisceration and skull-smashing.

Powers

• Item Type: weapon (any, see Special Powers)
• Special Material: obsidian. +10 Hit, +20 Crit, +40 Cpow, +40 Armor Penetration, can be used to parry targeted spells.
• Enchantment: (any rank 4 enchant desired by Eris at time of purchase)
• Customization: (any rank 4 customization desired by Eris at time of purchase)
• Special Powers:
  • Transformation: At-will, free, range 1; the weapon leaps to your hand (if not already there), and takes the form of any lethal weapon with which you are proficient. It may take the form of a single weapon (one or two handed), or two one-handed weapons, provided they are linked together somehow (such as by a chain).
  • Lethal Intent: Daily, free, 5 rounds; you let loose the chained will of the weapon, allowing it to slake its thirst for blood. It begins transforming of its own according, taking on an almost organic fluidity, as it extends and reshapes itself to better seek the destruction of your enemies. For game purposes, you maintain whatever shape you prefer, and simply gain +50 Hit Power, +50 Critical Chance, +25 Melee Haste, and +2 Reach for the duration. However, you may not end this effect early, and each round, the weapon must taste blood...even if it is yours.
